elopement packages begin at $1000
what if we were as intentional about choosing our wedding vendors as we were about picking out our dress or tuxedo?
Well, maybe we ought to be. Maybe wedding vendors should make us feel like they're just as excited for our big day as our own guests. Maybe it should be expected for vendors to help guide us on making the best informed decisions for our day. And maybe, having vendors who have our best interests at heart before, during, and after our wedding, should be the norm. I can't account for all of your other vendors, but I can tell you this -- As your photographer, I'll be there with you every step of the way. |
When Should We Book You?
I highly recommend inquiring with your photographer very early on alongside your venue. This is because we often play a big role in helping you build your timeline, guiding you on the best times of day for lighting, and educating you on how much time we need for each photographic element. So the earlier you book, the more I’m able to help you make the most informed decisions. If you are planning an autumn wedding, notably October, reach out ASAP. What Is The Best Time To Plan My Elopement?
I highly recommend holding your elopement at the break of dawn or near sunset. This is when lighting is most beautiful and romantic, as midday light is very harsh. Elopements are short and sweet, and you really get the flexibility to tailor things to exactly what you want. Trust me, let's make it count. Can I Book My Elopement On A Weekend?
For 1-2 hour elopements, I take these on weekdays only, except for January-March. This is true for many photographers, which is again, why I recommend finding your desired photographer before making concrete plans! Can I Book You For Just An Hour Even Though I'm Not Eloping?
Generally speaking, no. All of my packages are custom-tailored based on the amount of time I will need to beautifully capture your day and are designed based on years of experience. The bigger your wedding is, the more time that is needed to ensure I can account for all details and aspects—even if we see curveballs, even if things go off-schedule (which they almost always do!) Do You Service Larger Weddings?
Generally, no. I specialize in elopements or micro-weddings of around 50 people. I’m all about the alternative, untraditional, and intimate, so big ballroom or resort-style weddings aren’t really my speed. But I’ll meet you in a meadow, the courthouse steps, on a mountain peak, in a state park, at a family farm, in your parent’s backyard, at a brewery, or anywhere else we can fit a small, magical group of your most treasured people. What Is The Difference Between An Elopement And A Micro Wedding?
This can be tricky to decipher, as the lines have gotten blurred over the years. A true elopement is technically when just you and your partner secretly get hitched, with an officiant and a witness. For the sake of my services though, I consider elopements to be with yourselves and generally around 15 or less guests. You probably don't have a concrete venue that you've booked, other than perhaps a friend's backyard, a restaurant, or a picnic in a public park. And you might not have a wedding party, or much along the lines of scheduled dances, speeches, or bouquet tosses. With higher numbers of guests and with other more processional attributes like these, you're more likely in the realm of a micro-wedding. But, that's what I'm here for — to help build a plan for exactly what you'll need. Do We Get Sneak Peeks?
Always. All packages are guaranteed sneak peeks within 24 hours (unless, you know, I’m delayed by an Act of God or something). Are You LGBT Friendly?
