The magic of childhood is what makes me live and breathe for my job, and if I had to pick a genre I loved most this would totally be it.
My approach is a little different to your typical mini-shoots and traditional family portraits, as you'll probably see from my galleries. At this time I don't offer extended family shoots, as I work with a particular focus on the intimate relationships between young children and their parents(/guardians) for a more narrative experience.
Normally we stuff our kids in starched shirts and ironed dress pants and drag them by the ears to a photography studio, but what if there was another way –

I take my family sessions as an opportunity to explore and interact with the environment together, which results in less posed headshots and more so as a documented story of how you connect with your little ones while having an adventure. Because I was formally trained at a fine art academy, I view my work as more of an experience, where I "paint" you in my style.
This means that we'll be working together on picking out a beautiful location and sourcing unique outfits to set up our canvas, so there's no need to stress over what to wear. I sit down and personally design unique style boards just for you and track down adorable options from a whole database of well-loved shops for a more elevated experience, and poetic results.
I love bare muddy toes, little fingers picking flowers, butterfly kisses and cuddling in the grass, so if you're looking for a more organic, emotive approach to family photos, then you're exactly where you need to be.
