When Should I Book?
It’s best to reach out in advance, both because I take sessions on a very limited basis, and as I tend to book out by at least a month, especially during the fall season. We may also need this time to plan your outfits. When Will Our Shoot Be?
Portrait sessions are booked weekdays only during wedding season, though I am usually flexible for weekends during January-March. Sessions take place during sunset, when we get that soft, golden lighting. Sunset time varies between 3pm-7:30pm throughout the year. What Should We Wear?
All sessions include guided styling to achieve that organic and romantic look you see in my work. Using your base preferences as inspiration, I can personally track down pieces for you to build something special. Though we may also utilize things from your own closet, it’s important to leave a little wiggle room in your budget for this just in case, as clothing is a very integral part of our masterpiece that we don’t want to overlook. Just as quality paint and canvas are important to a painting, so too are clothing, accessories, and scenery to our portraits. Where Should We Shoot?
I'm based in Coventry CT, and your session comes with 40 miles included. I have many locations all around the state that I can recommend for us, from beaches, to forests, to fields and more. Most of these spots tend to revolve around nature. Forgotten meadows or secluded rocky peaks; special places that give us the beauty and solitude needed to create such intimate photos. For couples, I also offer these in more urban locations at times, like a parking garage rooftop! Do We Have Time For An Outfit Change?
We usually have time for one, yes. Can I Plan A Secret Proposal With You?
Yes! There's a couple of ways we can do this, so please reach out to me and I can help you plan out which method of surprise is best for you. Can We Bring Our Dog?
So, kind of. If you are able to bring along a friend who can care for your dog, then yes. Reason being, I truly need you to be hands-free for many of the intimate and emotive poses we’ll be doing, and so it’s necessary for us to have all of your limbs as well as your focus. |
