Updates on the upcoming illustrations!

So I didn't have a sketch ready for my special topics class, boo, but I did decide that I'm going to do The Moon tarot card. We have to use mixed media on the project, so I've decided to do watercolor with an overlay of  gold-leaf detailing. I'm not sure if my new watercolors will make it here in time for the new project, but we will see.
Also I've been shipped my powdered charcoal, which I had discovered is what Stephen Gammell used in his Scary Stories illustrations. This Thursday the finals for the phobia project are due. In the meantime, here is my practice demo using the powdered charcoal. Would Stephen Gammell approve of this tomato?
